By accessing or using our free client-side student tools, utilities, generators, and blog articles, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website StudyToolkit(the "Site") and all tools, content, services, and materials available on or through the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor using the Site and consent to such minor's use.

2. Age Requirements

StudyToolkit is designed for students and educational users aged 13 years and older. If you are under 13 years of age, you may not use this website. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you should review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian to ensure they understand and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Use of the Site and Tools

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our tools for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

  • Academic Integrity:The calculators (CGPA, Attendance, Semester Predictor) and helpers (Assignment Helper, Citation Generator) are designed to assist you in planning, formatting, and organizing your academic work. They are not intended to facilitate academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or fraudulent submissions. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with your institution's academic integrity policies.
  • Lawful Use: You agree not to use the converters, compressors, or scanning utilities to process copyright-infringing material, malware, illegal files, or any content that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
  • No Automated Access: You may not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract data from the Site without our prior written consent.
  • No Misrepresentation: You may not misrepresent the output of our tools as proprietary software or claim ownership of our tool interfaces, algorithms, or code.

4. Local Computation & Files

All operations regarding file manipulation (PDF merging, splitting, compressing, OCR scanning, image conversions, and resume builder drafts) are performed directly within your local browser sandbox using client-side JavaScript libraries. We do not inspect, upload, store, or process these files on our servers. You remain solely responsible for the safety, copyright compliance, backups, and accuracy of all local files processed through our tools.

5. Intellectual Property

The proprietary layout code, design styles, branding elements, tool codebases, dynamic schemas, blog articles, educational content, and all other original content on StudyToolkit are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • Your Output: Resumes, outlines, Word/PDF document files, converted images, and text extractions generated using our tools are 100% your property. We claim no ownership over materials you generate using our tools.
  • Our Content: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any of our original blog content, tool source code, or design elements without our prior written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit content through our contact form, newsletter subscription, or any other interaction, you grant us the right to use that submission solely for the purpose for which it was submitted (e.g., responding to your inquiry). We do not use user-submitted content for any other purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The calculators, converters, templates, generators, and blog guides are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of grading scales, attendance logic, conversion ratios, formatting instructions, and educational content, calculations may contain rounding differences or deviate from your specific school's policies. Career advice and resume guidance are general recommendations and not substitutes for professional career counseling. Always verify important calculations and decisions independently.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall StudyToolkit, its operators, developers, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of grades, academic disqualification, missed job opportunities, data loss, or any other damages arising from your use of or inability to use the tools, content, or services provided on this Site.

9. Third-Party Services & Advertising

Our Site displays advertisements through Google AdSense and may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. Your interaction with any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and policies.

10. Modifying or Discontinuing Services

We reserve the right to add, update, remove, or modify any tools, features, articles, or services at any time without prior notice. We may also suspend or terminate access to the Site at our sole discretion. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StudyToolkit, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. If you are accessing the Site from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at contact@studytoolkit.live. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal remedies as permitted under the governing law.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and StudyToolkit regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written.
